Thank You to a New Volunteer!

Laura Dalton is a graduate student in the Masters in mental health program at Bridgewater State College. She is a Mass Bay Red Cross volunteer in the Disaster Mental Health division as an intern in training. She is also a volunteer on the South Zone DAT and on the Sunday day North Zone DAT. The picture is of Laura teaching Psychological First Aid at LoganInternational Airport to the TSA (Transportation SecurityAdministration) employees. In her short time as a Red Cross volunteer she has jumped in to the role of a volunteer enthusiastically.

Thank you.

  1. What does anyone expect when the public does not have access to basic rights and information?

Do you have a moment to look over important disaster information? US President Obama did.

One of the most important factors in disaster preparedness/recovery is to be informed:

When the dust settles, who will carry the mantle for disaster survivors? This should help understanding: What do you expect in case of an insured loss? Are You Disaster Ready (hurricane, tornado, earthquake, flood, fire, etc.)? www.disasterprepared.net/whitehouse.html

Thank you for any consideration you may give.
